Since its introduction in 2012, the UKG InTouch™ 9000 time clock has been a reliable part of your workforce management solution. Due to aging software and limited availability of replacement parts, we are announcing the end of life for all UKG InTouch 9000 time clocks and options, effective January 31, 2027.

Here’s what you need to know:

End of support: After January 31, 2027, we will no longer offer equipment repairs, replacement services, firmware updates, or technical support for InTouch 9000 clocks. Additionally, these clocks will no longer be compatible with UKG cloud solutions, including UKG Ready^® and UKG Pro Workforce Management™.

Transition requirement: To ensure seamless operations, all InTouch 9000 clocks must be replaced with UKG InTouch DX™ clocks by January 31, 2027. This will allow your employees to continue entering punches and performing other clock transactions without interruption.

Transition support: We are dedicated to working closely with you to develop a personalized transition plan. In the meantime, we will continue to provide technical support for your InTouch 9000 clocks and options.

Important dates:

• End of sale for InTouch 9000 clocks and options: June 2016
• End of InTouch 9000 clock per event depot repair: June 30, 2025
• End of Touch ID option for InTouch 9000 clock depot exchange and depot repair: September 30, 2025
• End of all support services: January 31, 2027

Note: This does not impact InTouch 9100 H4 clocks, which were sold between June 2016 and September 2024. While no end-of-life date has been set for the InTouch 9100 H4 clocks, UKG will provide at least 18 months’ notice. For long-term planning, we recommend budgeting to replace your InTouch 9100 clocks by the end of 2028. Customers with both InTouch 9000 and InTouch 9100 clocks are encouraged to transition to UKG InTouch DX clocks before January 31, 2027.
