Critical changes are coming to your UKG Pro Workforce Management™ (WFM) cloud solution that will impact your Kronos® 4500™ timeclocks. As we previously communicated, support for 4500 timeclocks in the UKG Cloud ended on December 31, 2023.
Over the past year, we’ve been updating our cloud infrastructure, which has stopped the majority of 4500 clocks from communicating with UKG Pro WFM. However, a few 4500 clocks with the latest firmware and hardware versions have continued to connect in a deprecated state.
Key changes effective December 31, 2024:
- Deactivating communication: All communication with 4500 timeclocks will be deactivated.
- Offline status: Clocks will go offline with no way to be reconnected.
- Punch data: Punches collected on these clocks will not be transferred to the cloud, resulting in employees' punches not being entered into their timecards. There is no alternative to collecting the punches off the clocks and manual punch edits will be required.
Important! Our records indicate that you may have an active 4500 timeclock connected to the UKG Pro WFM cloud. To avoid disruptions, we recommend transitioning to an InTouch DX before December 31, 2024. Please contact your Account Representative to discuss your options and ensure a smooth transition.
