The UKG Pro Workforce Management™ (WFM) enhanced password policy has been applied to your non-production and production environments. You have been identified as someone who may be experiencing disruptions with your API users, and your action is required to bring resolution.
Action required! If you are experiencing integration disruptions with your API users after receiving the enhanced password policy, you will need to take one of the following actions to resolve any integration disruptions immediately:
- Designate certain user accounts that are being used for calling APIs as “API-only users,” using the “API-Only User” checkbox in People Information > Employee > Information.
- If you don’t mark user accounts as API-only using the checkbox, and your admin account is used for API integrations, you’ll need to reset your password in the UKG Pro WFM application to adhere to the enhanced password policy requirements. After resetting, update the password in the API integration to ensure they match.
