We’ll be upgrading our X.509 token-signing and encryption certificates on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 3:00 a.m. ET for test environments. Failure to take the necessary steps below may result in disruption of your single sign-on (SSO) login to your UKG Pro® solutions:
- Users may encounter the message “An error has occurred” when logging into UKG Pro solutions via SSO after the certificate updates. If this occurs, clear cache and cookies from their browsers.
- If your third-party SSO provider is Microsoft® Azure, there is no action required on your part in updating this certificate.
- If you’re leveraging single log-out (SLO) for OKTA™ or PingOne, you’ll need to update your SSO certificate.
- If your third-party SSO provider monitors the UKG federation metadata URL, you may need to initiate a manual update from our metadata URL on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 3:00 a.m. ET. Access it and a copy of our new certificate here. If your IT department does not have access to the UKG Community™, please forward them the instructions.
- If your third-party SSO solution does not monitor our federation metadata URL or if your SSO provider is Centrify®, ADFS, or PingFederate® and you need further assistance to complete this change, contact your SSO service provider directly to manually update your certificate by December 4, 2024, at 3:00 a.m. ET, to ensure you’re able to continue using SSO to access your UKG Pro solutions.
*If you're not logged in to the UKG Community, you'll be asked to enter your credentials when accessing the link(s).
