To enhance your payroll processing experience, an upcoming update in your UKG Pro® solution will relocate the Manage Adjustments configuration within Web Access Rights for Payroll role types, streamlining the management of payroll errors.
Here’s what you need to know:
- If a role currently doesn’t have access to Payroll Overview but has Manage Adjustments permissions, the Payroll Overview page will now be accessible to that role.
- Depending on the security rights assigned to the Payroll Model steps, this may allow users to run payroll steps without the ability to view checks.
Your action may be required! To ensure a smooth transition, you’ll need to take the following action by Wednesday, April 30, 2025:
- Review the Security Role Access Rights standard report (under Administration > Reporting > Standard Reports > Available) to identify any roles that do not have permission to access Payroll Overview but do have Manage Adjustments access.
Note: Please ensure to run this report in Excel format.
- Once you identify any impacted roles, adjust the Web Access Rights based on whether the role should retain access to Manage Adjustments. If the role should retain its Manage Adjustment access rights but should not view Payroll Overview and payroll steps, you can secure the payroll steps in the Payroll Model by role.
